The RHIA community works – among other things – on sustainable aviation with programs that focus on electric and hydrogen-powered flying, quieter flying, digitalization of airport processes and sustainable energy. WE ARE WORKING ON THE FOLLOWING GOALS:
1. Stimulating aviation innovations
Innovation is a key component when it comes to a future-proof region. Our ‘ecosystem’provides a breeding ground and growth vehicle for innovation within the aviation industry.
2. Increasing the socio-economic value.
The airport will function as a magnet for attracting new business, next generation education, and future job opportunities.
3. Accelerating the energy transition.
Less CO2 emissions, alternative fuels and an airport that supplies energy to the grid. This is how we contribute to the energy transition.
